Chinmay Deshpande (cdeshpande@energyrecovery.com) has been involved with turbomachinery development for over thirteen years, with experience in mechanical, hydraulic and bearing design, rotordynamics, test loop design, and system analysis. Currently, at Energy Recovery, he is involved with the development of new pumps, advanced hydraulic turbochargers, and pressure exchangers in the water and O&G industries. Previously at Flowserve Corp., he was involved in the development of a subsea lubrication system and offshore high-pressure water-injection pump development. He received his M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of California.
