At PETRONAS for 18 years, Dr. Chan started his career as a process engineer in Malaysia LNG facilities in Bintulu. He devoted many years in the LNG industry in operations, technical services, project development and business development roles. In 2017, he joined Group Digital, where is responsible for shaping, steering, and accelerating digital initiatives with the Businesses. He and his team focus on digital programs aimed at improving safety, reliability, and efficiency of plant facilities. Partnering with the Businesses to systematically pilot, introduce, and embed new ways of working. Dr. Chan holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer in Malaysia.
