Robert Pelton

Hanwha Power Systems

Mr. Robert Pelton is the manager of the design and development group at the Hanwha Power Systems, in Houston. In that position, he oversees a team responsible for the analytic design of new products and custom engineered machines. This includes the aerodynamic, structural, and rotordynamic performance of multi-stage integrally geared compressors. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University. Prior to coming to Hanwha, Mr. Pelton worked at Concepts NREC on the aerodynamic design of a wide range of turbomachinery including radial compressors, pumps and turbines.
