His main scope of activity is the design and the rotor dynamics of compressors levitated by active magnetic bearings. During his more than 10 years with this company he has been involved in the design, testing and commissioning of a high-pressure seal test rig, various motor-driven compressors, and the hermetically sealed STC-ECO motorcompressor. Dr. Gausmann received his Diploma degree in 1997 from the University of Hannover and his doctorate from the Technical University of Karlsruhe in 2005.
